#004: Glitter orange gradient

As the blog title shows, I normally change my nail just once a week, only on the weekend. But I was sooooo uncomfortable with my last one, I decided to repaint it. I still couldn’t give up using “orange” on my nail, so I tried another orange with gradient pattern…and now I feel really better!

Turn the Other Chic is light yellowish orange jelly with tons of tiny silver/holographic glitters packed in it. Formula is a bit thick but dry very fast which means it works pretty well for gradient creation. This reminds me the sunny summer days…even if it’s pretty gray outside (as usual german winter time).

気に食わないが極まって結局塗り替え。しかしオレンジが全く似合わないのか！？ということで恐る恐るやってみましたオレンジラメグラデ。……悪くないんじゃね？と絶賛自画自賛中で御座います。少なくとも前回の違和感バリバリ状態よりはずっといい。もしかしたらポイント使い（フレンチとか）ならいいのかも知れません。
Color Clubのオレンジラメは濃い目のクリアオレンジに粒ラメぎっしり、もったり目のテクスチャですが乾きがほんっとに早いのでグラデしやすくて良かったです。

First when I saw this polish as the preview by my daily-blog-seeking, I felt WOW HOLY GOD VERY CUTE. While I found this in my local drugstore, I just grabbed it without thinking anything but OMG IT’S TOO CUTE. It’s flakie polish with neon orange-pink creme base, which you won’t see so often.

And now, after the application to my own nails, actually my voltage fallen down…the formula was a bit tricky, a bit too thick and flakies bothering around for even application so I didn’t like it, and…personally, it just didn’t look great on my nail. Well, this is the first time to realize that these kind of neon color is not my color at all…I think I’ll never try other neons anymore *sigh*

Anyway, color itself is great so I still really, reaaaaally love how it does look like through the bottle…this still makes me happy :)

発売前のプレビューがかわいくて、店頭で見てもかわいくて、実物を見た瞬間即買いした1本。……なんですが塗ってみてあまりの似合わなさに撃沈。少々塗りづらい（もったり系＆ラメがちょっと邪魔）のをどうにか頑張って塗り終えて、しかし頑張ったにも関わらず漂いまくる隠し切れないあまりの違和感に絶賛激烈凹み中ですorz　物はキレイなのよ！オレンジ系ピンクベースで中にフレークラメがちらちらしていて本当にかわいいのですよ！なのに！！
どうにか使えんか思案しつつ、とりあえずは観賞用でしょうか……しょんぼり。

#002: White gradient

Funny bunny is white crème which is a bit warm and pretty sheer, so it’s great polish to make gradient pattern! No need to dilute it, simply I started by painting 2/3 of my nail “roughly”…and continued until the free edge is completely covered (5 coats in total). After a light coat of holo-glitter and seche vite, it looks like gel-polished…but it’s not!

日本のネイルブログではお馴染みOPI Funny bunnyを使った白グラデ。もうちょっと上手くなりたいところ。何故かこちらの人々には「それジェル？」といわれることが多いです。セシェのぽってり感のせいかなあ。あと写真だとラメが何だか粒々し過ぎて微妙……本当はもっとキレイなのにー！

I really love Catherine Arley’s holo collection…application is easy, dries well, and VERY pretty! Though it’s a bit sheer and chippy, I can’t complain about it…actually it’s super-cheep, too (below 1.5 euro for full-size bottle).

 

Catherine Arleyはトルコのネイルブランド。玉虫シリーズは本当にキレイ、かつ塗りやすく乾きも良くてお気に入り！爪先がスレてしまいやすいのが難点ですが、1本1.5ユーロしない、しかも15mL入り、なのに文句なんていえません……。
