#024: So-called peridot dupes

Last year there was a great movement on chanel peridot. Despite of its price, even if users/bloggers really complain on it, they just bought it themselves and showed on their articles. At least I saw tons of swatches/articles/posts about this precious polish, always talking about its horrible price and insane beauty.

Year later, I mean now, crazy thing is happening; peridot dupes EVERYWHERE. I see many brands releasing their own peridot dupes. Even if it’s not perfect dupe at all, from my opinion, it’s still dupe – they are always gold-green shimmering duochromes. Me myself own five of them, but still more are available. But anyway, because I own five; why not painting each finger by each polish?

So I did it. Five peridot-like duochrome in each finger. What is funny here is I don’t own peridot myself, but hey…don’t you think this is already enough? Irridescent eye and Art Deco 227 is much greener, and Art Deco 226 is much copper than gold, but each of them are still very, very similar each other.
And what is much funnier for me is, I still think it might be fun if I can have all of the dupes which are available…Absolute Douglas Fireworks, Anny Most wanted, Misslyn chameleon, OPI Just spotted the Lizard, etc…and still NOT thinking to own original peridot. I don’t understand myself why, but that’s me :D

昨年はクラックだらけ、今年はPeridot系だらけ……と以前から散々いうていたのですがその証明ともいえる今回のネイルです。いうかその辺中からリリースされ過ぎですよちょっと。今回5本の指にそれぞれ違うポリ塗ったのですが差がほとんど解らないですよ。同じブランドからぱっと見区別付かない2色が出ているとかいうのも大概頭オカシイですよ。まあそれを端から「違いが見たい」というそれだけの理由で5本も買い集め、さらにまだ増やすか否か悩んでいる時点で自分の頭も大概ダメだわと思わなくは無いですが。
まぁとはいえですね、いい色であることには間違いありません。爪が欠けちゃったので一気に短くして、だから全塗りしてもいかつくはならんだろと以前から温めていたこの「Peridot系ポリ個別塗り」を今回敢行したのですが、意外と指にしっくり馴染んで吃驚です。こういう偏光系の中でPeridot系が阿呆ほど作られている（＝売れている？）のにも納得です。あとこの5本の中でも特にCatriceとSeohora、ArtDeco 227とJessicaがかなりそっくりな色出しで、ほとんど何も考えず塗り始めた割りに中指を中心に対象に同系色を配置した形になってよかったなあと。Catrice/Sephoraがゴールド寄り、ArtDeco 227/Jessicaがグリーン寄りかな。とはいえよーく見ないと差なんて解りませんが。
しっかしこれだけ数買っておいて、なおかつまだ増やすかーと悩んでおいて、本家Peridotには1ミクロンも食指が動かないのは何でですかね。まあでもPeridotほぼ1本分（24.95ユーロ）でこの5本が買えてしまう（2.45～7.50ユーロ）ことを考えると正直どーしても、ねー、という感じですが。

OK OF COURSE I know that BVB GOT A MEISTERSCHALE, but…on same time, I really wanted to celebrate Kleeblätter = SpVgg Greuther Fürth!! It’s their FIRST promotion to 1. Bundesliga in their long history…and I’m also looking forward seeing them at the 1. bundesliga, especially because they fought VERY well against BVB at DFB Pokal’s semi-final.

So to the nail…because simple green-and-white nail looks much like Celtic FC nail, so  I added their clover – not four-leaf, it’s THREE-leaf, see above  - to the ring finger. I wanted to have crisp clover with same color as base color, so I grabbed cooking paper, spreaded the polish there, waited until dry, peeled off…

...and punched out the heart-shape with the paper craft punch. I also cut the polish sheet in thin strip to use as a line-tape, and this was how I made the clover + stripes on the ring finger. It was first trial to use this technique with cooking paper, and I’m happy that it worked out very well :D

Only the thing I’m not satisfied for this is french. I’m not good at french-mani, but I was too lazy to use the masking tape :( But I’ll practice again, next could be better than this :) And again I’m already sad to remove this, but…I hope I can have another chance to do this in next season again, too!

BVB優勝おめでとうー！！先週ダービーネイルやったばっかなのに！！ｗ
……しかし実は今節（32節）はいっろいろ、実にいろいろとドラマがあった節なのです。BVBが連覇したのはもちろんのこと、カイザースラウテルンが勝ったにも拘らず降格決定とか、しかし下した相手がヘルタベルリン＝死なば諸ともでヘルタも16位以下確定とか、FCBがもうちょっとでBVBを他力優勝させるところだったとか、一時はマジぶっちぎりの最下位だったフライブルグが残留確定とか、1部リーグだけでも山盛りなのですが2部も2部で大変面白いことになっておりまして。
2部、ツヴァイテリーガ、は日本ではほとんど注目されていなかったりしますが（乾がいるボーフムくらいかな）これまた相当見応えのあるリーガです。あと1部は放映権がSKY（スカパー的な）に持って行かれている分地上波では2部をばんばか放映している＝身近過ぎるというのも一因だったりしますがｗ
えーそんな2部も32節ではいろいろありましたな、昇格2チームと降格チームのうち1つが確定、しかも昇格チームが降格チームを直接叩き落した形、後は熾烈なる3位争い勃発（入れ替え戦ありますしねぇ）とか。そんな昇格チームのうちの1つ、首位昇格するであろうチームが今回ネタにしたSpVggグロイター・フュルトです。ここは100年以上の歴史を持つ超古いチームの1つなのですが、「ブンデスリーガ」発足後何と一度も一部リーグに昇格したことが無い、今回初昇格、というチームなのです。ここ数年「上がれるかもー！(｀・ω・´)」→「ダメだったー(´・ω・`)」を繰り返していただけに今回の昇格は格別だろうと思います。今シーズンは2部内でぶっちぎりの得点力を誇り、ポカール準決勝でもBVBを超苦しめたチーム、1部でどんな活躍をしてくれるか今から物凄ーく楽しみです。

……ってサッカーばかり語ってどうする。
ええとそんなこんなで爪です爪。緑と白の配色はぱっと見「セルティック…？」と思われそうですがクローバーが3枚葉である時点で違います。セルティックは4枚葉。最初は描くことも考えたのですがばちっとしたクローバーに出来る自信が1ミリもありませんで、ツメイログのビリアさんによるポリシール作成講座を参考にクラフトパンチでハートを切り抜き→並べて作りました。あと細いラインも同じくポリシート切り出し。カッター使えばよかったものをはさみで無理やり切ったので太さが一定では無いですがまあそこはそれでしょうか。結果として完全に2色だけでまとめることができてホロとかラインテープとか絵の具とか使うよりもいい具合にまとまりのあるネイルになったかなあと思います。
あとはフレンチのラインがガタガタ過ぎ泣けた。これはもう練習しまくるしかなさそうです。あるいはマスキングテープに頼るとか。ただいい具合に使えそうなテープがなかなか無いのが微妙ですが。何でごくふつーのビニールテープが何処にも見当たらないのかと小一時間(´・ω・`)　いろいろ買って試すしか無いのかなーと諦めているところです。
とはいえポリシール、思いの他上手く行ってそこは非常に満足です。ただ結構ポリ消費しますなー。よく使う系統の色はプチプラ系で、あまり使わない色ならメーカーどれでも、みたく使い分けないとちょっと悲しいことになっちゃうかもなーと思案しているところです。

Sort of business meeting on this week = No bold color, no fancy or tricky design allowed. But otherwise, simple beige or pink or whatever = it’ll bore me for sure. Office-like holos? I already did in last two months. Then what?

...Above was what I was thinking until I desided to do this glitter gradient. Oh yes, glitter gradient for meeting. But well…don’t you think it’s at least better than bold color or full-nail-art? I wanted to make simple looking, but not simple one- or two-coat, not too fancy but not too boring…and finally I reached to this result.

Polish used here is Japanese polish called AC nail enamel. It’s beautiful, isn’t it? It’s not a simple one-glitter, but mixture of at least two glitters with golden shimmer in coral jelly. This brand has great line of glitters, but I only own two of them. This was my first use of their glitter, and now I really feel I need MORE! So this is how my wish-list for next japanese trip grows up…*hahaha* :D

仕事ネイルでラメグラデってどうなんすかね。とはいえぱっと見派手じゃなくて、あまり手をかけすぎてるようにも見えなくて、でも自分の爪見るといい気分になる程度にはキレイでー……とかいろいろ考えていたら最終的にこうなってしまった件。どうしてこうなった。
とはいえD78、元の色が超肌馴染みのいいコーラルピンクな上にessieのCool-lotsみたいなゴールドパールも入っているのできらきらするものの派手さやイカツさはゼロです。意外とラメもぎんぎらしないので正直いつもより見た感じおとなしいくらいです。何か飾りたくなりますがこれはこれでいいかなあと。そもそも材料の類いなーんにもありませんしorz
しかし100均ポリ侮れませんな。次帰るときは全部あるだけ買って帰るつもりです。……これ買ったときは父親が一緒でしてな、いくら100円均一だといってもさすがにポリばっかり10本20本父親の目の前で買う勇気は無かったという(´・ω・`)一緒だったのがダンナだったら一個も躊躇しなかったんですけどねー……しょんぼり。

Do you like crackle polish?
As you know last year was BOOM on crackle polish, driven by manufacturers but not by users at all, which made pretty a lot of polish-fanatics fed up of them…so do I. Crème-finish crackles, it wasn’t my taste, I don’t own any of shatters or crackle-glazes; but while I found some of so-called “pearl-finish crackle” in my local drug store, I felt like “Okay at least I should try them”, and…actually I might say I love this “pearl crackling” series from P2.

It says pearl, and yes it looks pearly when you end up the mani without any glossy-topcoat or what ever as below…

…but I like to finish by adding glossy topcoat because as soon as topcoat covered the crackle it BLINGS! It’s not “pearly” anymore but instead it looks very shimmery or even glittery! I love the way it crackles, as crackle-looking really depends on it’s formula (and this is another reason I don’t feel buying shutters), this one is perfect for me.

Good finish, good formula, and what else? This also has very good price, 1.75 euro for 11 ml! It’s a bit small bottle but only one coat is needed and for sure it’s not for everyday-nail-painting, I think this is really enough. Blue thunder is my favorite, but I have others in my stash waiting for my next use. But anyway, good job P2!!

いやー去年本当に阿呆かいう程流行りましたねクラックネイル。正確には流行らさせられた、かな。何であんなに何処のメーカーも猫も杓子もクラックだったんでしょうか。未だにちまちま出ていますがそんなたくさんあってどーすんの、なポリの代表格だと思うのですが。
ということで基本的にはわたくしクラック否定派です。特にクリームフィニッシュのクラック、黒とか赤とか白とか、本当どう使えというのだと思っています。大体15mlもあったって使い切れるわけねーじゃん、特別安くも無いし、それなら他のポリ買うよ、とも思っています。
……が。
ドイツにはP2というドラッグストアコスメブランドがありまして。そこでクラックポリを売り出したのです。P2は品質もさながらその素晴らしいプチプラっぷりでドイツではスタンダード中のスタンダードの1つでして、そんなところが作るのなら悪くなかろというのと、あと当時多分最初にゴールドのクラックポリを出していてこれの色出しがいい感じだったので、1.75ユーロ＝200円かー失敗しても痛くねえなーと買ったのが始まりでした。
このゴールドが非常に優秀でして、シマー入りクラックかわいいじゃないか！となり、その後去年シマー入りがさらに増えまして全色（といっても全部で5色）買って今に至るという感じです。ちなみに商品名は「パール」ですが正しくはシマーだろうと勝手に思っています。
というのも確かに最初は粉っぽいような感じ＝パールっぽいといえばその通りな仕上がりになるのですが、グロッシー系トップコートを塗ると雰囲気大変化するからです。ツヤの下で大粒のシマーが光り、ラメをかけたような、でもやっぱり違うような何ともいえないきらきらな仕上がりになります。あと割れ方もいいのかな。大きくクロコっぽく割れるので割れ損ねたゴミがいっぱい(´・ω・`)みたいな見た目にはなりにくいです。
今回はネイビーのポリと一緒に直線フレンチにしてみましたが、全面塗りしても意外とイカツくなりません。最近あまり使っていなかったのですがもっといろいろ使いたいなあと思う1本です。

As I was tweeting I REALLY wanted to do this! BVB Borussia Dortmund inspired nail!! Actually I wanted to do this BEFORE the derby, but I didn’t have time :(
Also I must say I bought the dotting tool only for this nail, but it worked SO fine…I’m now thinking to use it more for other nails, other colors :D

Well it’s square dot and not round, but doing crisp square-dot by polish was way too hard, I thought normal dot could be OK. I’m very satisfied by the result, not only because it’s BVB-like but just so pop and cute…I’m already pretty sad to think about removing this :((((((

天王山＆ダービー、勝ちましたねBVB！香川は微妙に活躍できてなかったようですがこのところ調子悪かったレヴァ＆グロクロが復活して来たようで何よりです。ケールもキャプテンの面目躍如かな。あとピシュチェク吼えすぎ青筋立てすぎ怖すぎたｗ　次のボルシア対決も制してこのまま優勝じゃー！！
……とか何とかいうてますが私ドルサポではありません（おい）。4強の中で一番好きなんがドルというだけです。さらにいうなら選手より監督のファンです。飛び回る監督は素敵です。ついでに4強にこだわらないならアウグスも好きです。残留頑張れー！！
…………話逸れた。ともかく天王山＆ダービーを前にやりたかったネイルです……が時間が無くて今になってしまった件。でも優勝決定戦前でよかったとは思っていますが。デザインはホームユニから！ドットグラデ頑張った！ドッティングツール超便利！想像以上にかわいく出来たのでBVBカラーに限らず他の色でもやりたいところです。結構気を使うので全指ドットグラデとかいうたら死にますがｗ　丸ホロでやったらラクなのかなとも思いますが、こう、じんわりとサイズを小さくしていくという意味では描いちゃった方が早い＆キレイな気がします。
さて問題はこれを見たダンナ（筋金入りの浦和レッズサポ）がレッズネイル！レッズネイル！！とうるせえことです。……時間が出来たら頑張ってみようと思います。

#019: Green holographics

Time for longer day, time for sunshine, time for HOLO!! Well I know I’m crazy on holo polishes and I do enjoy even on clowdy winter time, but of course sunny-day is the best for waring holos! And, as I posted before I added new holo in my stash, which is green, which might be great for spring, so I desided to ware it this time. I also wanted to make my mani a bit vivid, I wared as combi-mani with another green holo…

As well described, Reclaim is really great linear holo with similar formula to OMG or Nfu-Ohs, so aqua-base basecoat is “must” before the application. Drying time was not so good as OMG series, but finish is too beautiful to complain.
#803 is mostly same as other Cathrine Arley holos, subtle scatter holo with bit glossy finish. It was also pretty sheer so I went 3 coats to have enough color on.

Anyway I think these two went in good combination! Each color is working as good accent for another color, looks not too much but not too less. LOVE!

来るのを楽しみにし過ぎていたあまり他に買ったポリ全部ぶっ飛ばしての緑玉虫ネイルです。ただほんの少しパステルっぽい甘めの緑＝全部の指に塗るとクドくなりそうな気がして、手持ちの黄緑玉虫と合わせてみました。重すぎず軽すぎない、バランスの良い緑ネイルになったと思うのですがどうでしょうか。
さてNubar ReclaimとCathrine Arley #803です。Reclaimは見た感じの質感がOMG系そっくりだったのでJessicaベースコートを塗った上で塗ったのですが大正解でした。ベースコートしていても微妙に色を引きずるとか何事よ。乾きもOMG系より微妙に良くなくてうーん、という感じだったのですが仕上がりの美しさに全てが吹っ飛びました。いやほんと買って良かったです。
Catherine Arley #803は正直あんまり玉虫っぽく無いのですが光が当たると輝くオレンジラメが本当にキレイです。ちょっとメタリックな輝きだけどかわいい色。少々シアーですが塗りやすくてお気に入りです。これは専用ベースコートをしてもしなくても塗り心地は変わらない感じです。
日も長くなりましたし、春の日差しになりましたし、ちょっと新芽っぽい感じのネイルになったかなあと自己満足中であります。

#018: Nothing but TWITTER!!

I desided to jump into twitter-world! Sometimes I have few words that I’d like to describe but not enough for one single post, twitter might be great tool to describe these “tweets”. And while I was setting up the twitter, I simply thought it’s too boring to leave that “egg” icon over there. I wanted something to decorate, and…here I went for “twitter-inspired” nail!

This is really my FIRST flat art I made by opaque ink, so it’s not that great-looking (I hope it looks like “tweet” bird icon)…but I’m sure I did my best :D
I also think I took too much blue on it that now it reminds me of FACEBOOK rather than twitter, so…I’d like to redo this or re-arrange this on some moment, but I’m still happy having these kind of “design” on my nail ;)

ついったー始めました＜冷やし中華始めました的な
いやブログにまとめられない小ネタとか何とかいろいろちまちま発信するのにいいなあと思いまして。で、アカウント取ったはいいのですがあの「卵」アイコンが気に入らずこれは何かやるしかあるまい！という勢いでやってしまいましたTwitterネイル、であります。普段アートとか思いつくわけねーじゃん！な人なのですがコレはTwitterをネタにすると決めた瞬間にするっと出て来たもので、基本デザインは非常に気に入っています。
……　基　本　デザインは、ですが。Wフレンチの濃い青を幅広く取りすぎたとか鳥がヨレヨレだとか反省点は数限りなくあります。あと青が濃過ぎたこれじゃあFacebookじゃねーか、とか。なかなかいい水色って無いもんですな、また探してそのうちやり直せたらいいなーと思っています。
ともあれ@nailofthisweekでついったやっています。よろしければフォローしたってもらえると嬉しいです（ここと同じく英日Mixになると思いますが）。

Haul: Another pack from US…

Today I found this pack stuck in my mailbox…I’m very happy that it wasn’t stolen by anyone, it’s a pity that postman did not ring my bell :(
Anyway I was really waiting for this pack, so of course I began opening, and then I found that…

I peeled off 4 wrappings and still could NOT reach to the polish!! Oh yes it was sent by envelope (but still kind of cardboard), so to be secure they had to be well wrapped, but oh my god…this is at least two layers more than I expected.
But well, all of my order came in perfect shape, I can’t complain it, even if peeling-off of wrapping took pretty great amount of time for me :D

So this time I bought 10 polishes, including…

2 Nubars (Reclaim and Nubar 2010)…

Actually Nubar and Orly is completely new brand for me, and as these are all very well-known polishes, I’m so excited to invite these into my stash! Can’t wait using all of these!!

先月も買ってたんじゃなかったっけ？という状況ですが今月もです。……嘘です先月のオーダーの続きです。一部取り寄せをお願いしてたので遅くなりました。しかし封筒だからってうちのポストにぶっ刺して放置して行くとか何事ですか＞配達屋。盗まれなくて良かったですいやマジで。注文内容は海外ブログの評判いいの＋日本ブログの評判いいのという感じになりました。以下プチ感想をば。

essie：ピンク2つ＋白はグラデ用。ちょうどよいシアーさってなかなかこっちには無いので。あとAs Gold As It Getsはこういう一系統色のフレークは他に無いということで。最初はShine of the Timesも買おうかと思ったのですが、よー考えたら同じようなの持ってる（essenceやCatriceから出てる）しこれ以上増やしてどーすんだということでやめた次第。後悔はしていない。何故なら……
Nubar：かの有名な2010を買ってしまったからです。Nubar2010ってSally HansenのHidden treasureと並んでこういう偏光フレークラメ系の元祖と呼ばれておるシロモノ、元祖なら持っておいて損はあるまい！例え持っているのと多少被っても！と（おい）。濃色に被せると実にうつくしーので大好きです。Reclaimは多分今フツーに定価で入手できる唯一の「滑らか系」玉虫で、かつ緑なんて無いのでついでとばかりに注文。こいつらどっちもドイツのebayじゃ信じられん値段してます。手に入って超満足です。
Jessica：Peacock queen “某超高級ブランドCのポリを丸パクしましたが何か”Collectionから2本。実はこのコレ結構好意的に捕らえられているようですな。まあ確かに同じ（ような）色出し・より良い液質・より良い容器（ブラシ）・1/3の価格、ならそりゃブランドの大ファン（信者ともいう）で無いならば叩きようがありませんわな。試すのが凄い楽しみな2本です。
Orly：色とりどりのフレークが超キレイ！……はいいのだけどこれ今の季節じゃなくないか。今絶対使いよう無いよな色的に。ということで秋まで取っておきます。早く秋になーれー！＜違
China Glaze：方々で「Sakura pinkのそっくりさん」だとよく聞く→Tins買えない(´・ω・`)→なら買える方買っておいて損は無いよね！みたいな。いつもChina glazeはTransdesignで買ってたのですが残念ながら消えてしまったので、1本だけ他で買うくらいなら……ということでオーダー。評判どおりのかわいさ！

以上10本でした。今回マリポサさんにお願いしたのですがお取り寄せに応じてもらえるわ送料は日本と同じ扱いだわ梱包丁寧すぎるわそもそもNubarとJessicaとその他が皆一度に買えるとか他に無いし、ということで今後も利用すること確定です。思う様お世話になるつもりです。日本人でよかったーｗ

#017: Marine blue-to-golden green metalic duochrome

So one from my last french-shopping! This gave me nice duochrome color with pretty strong metalic finish, that it certainly looks like “foil” depends on the strength of light, or angle from the light…that, one above and one below is taken under exactly same light-source…but looks really different, isn’t it?

As other duochromes this was soooooooooooo hard to capture, even if I took the photo under direct sunlight/artifitial daylight/dim light/soft light/or whatever, it often looked one-color. I think because shimmer is very strong and metalic, this could scatter all the “color-shifts” and won’t appear in the photo…but it’s really great duochrome!

Application was easy, the brush was similar to catrice one, drying time was a bit slow but still acceptable…I especially love how marine blue appears by this polish, it might give me great pedi for summer!

セフォラから1本。虹色帯が出るポリのことを日本では玉虫いっていますが（そしてこのブログでも使っていますが）本当の玉虫ってこういう色だよねえ、という強烈な偏光のぎんぎらしい1本であります。カラーシフトはマリンブルーから金色っぽい緑、ついでに偏光シマー自体ちょっと他より大粒だからか光の当たり方によってはフォイルですかこれいうくらいの勢いでぎらぎら光ります。
角度によって出るマリンブルーが本当に何というか青色1号というかバスクリンというか素晴らしく鮮やかな青でお気に入りです。しかも偏光だからマリンブルーべったり一色には絶対にならず、必ず何処かに緑っぽさ・黄色っぽさが入るので黄色人種には使いやすい色になってると思います。ブラシがかなり太いのでちょっと塗りにくいかなーというのと（爪の大きい人向き）乾きがちょっとばかり遅いなーいうのといいことばかりではありませんが何せ発色が実に美しいので気になりません。ちょっとシアーだけど（光に透かすとフリーエッジがばっちり見える）ぎんぎらなので解りにくいというのもいいところ。
実は当初買う予定に入ってなかったんですが、買って良かったー！

Spin-off: Essence better than gel nail base sealer

This is my ever-holy-grail-basecoat. I know lot of people don’t like this base coat so much, but this IS really my current favorite despite of its negative points.

To be honest, it’s pretty strange basecoat. Formula is dence, thick and gooey…or even stringy. Even much thicker than Seche vite. It easily sticks on the brush, applys very thick on the nail, so a bit difficult to control. It doesn’t dry so fast, either – you need to spend at least very good minute or two.

So why I love this? Because of this thickness. It’s really like gel – it covers nail very well and fill ALL the ridges. Deep or slight, doesn’t matter, ALL. It smoothes up the nail completely. Much better than other ridge fillers as OPI or Nailtek; I was heavy user of them but not now anymore.

Sorry for my crappy barenail…but you see the difference!? It’s only 1 coat!

Also it’s beautifully clear…I can’t say if this is really better than gel or not, but at least I can say this is clear AS gel. I don’t like to apply base “color” for gradient or french, but normal basecoat is not enough for nice-looking base…and THIS IS. Oh, and importantly, I must add one more great ”positive”; it doesn’t stain the nail!

Overall, this base coat works as “ridge-filling clear base”. This is exactly the thing I was looking for, so I’m not thinking to try other base coats anymore…and now, I might cross my finger NOT to be discontinued (which could happen everytime for essence products *sigh*).

今最も愛しているベースコートであります。実はあんまり評判は良くないんだけど私は大好き！SecheやらNailtekやらOPIやらとふらふらしていたベースコートジプシーがこれでぴたっと止まりました。
ベースコートとしてはかなーり変な液質でぶっちゃけSeche viteより濃いです。もったりねっとり。慣れないと糸引きまくるしブラシに無駄について来るしもちろん爪にもぼったりとつくので結構大変です。挙句乾き遅いマジ遅い。10本塗り終えたらさあ次はポリを、とはできません。

では何処が好きなのか。これテクスチャがまさにジェルなのです。すなわち適量（ここ大事）塗って放っておくと勝手に表面が滑らかになるのです。塗り立てが多少がたついていても乾く頃には滑らか。しかも溝があろうが何だろうが関係無し、キレイに埋めて表面をつるんつるんにしてくれます。
加えて素晴らしい透明度、さすがジェルネイルに対抗しているというか、このベースに同シリーズのトップをかけるとうるうるつるつる具合半端無いです。ほんとクリアジェルそっくり。ジェル風トップコートって一時日本でえらい流行ってたようですが正直ベースもどうにかしないとジェルライクになんてならないよ！（力説）
あと分厚ーくつくからか爪が色素沈着しません。黄変もしにくい模様。最もコレは私の爪が色素沈着しにくいからかも知れませんが（でもNail Envyでは黄色くなった）。厚塗りキライな人には向きませんが、ジェルっぽい厚みが好きな人・あのつるんとした感じが好きな人・あと爪を保護したい人にはぴったりだと思います。

ちなみに気になるお値段トップコートと同じく10mlで2.5ユーロです。これは絶版になるとなったら街中巡って買い占めると思います。いうかトップコート以上に替えが効かない（トップは一応Secheがあるし）のでどうか無くなりませんようにー！と日々心底祈っている次第です……。

I’m very sure I was too happy when I found this in my local…discount store! It was released at 2010 fall, and I knew about this great polish and magnet just last year, which is way too late…but finally I could get it, also in great price (30% discounted), so I’m really happy.

Application was actually a bit tricky. Formula itself is nice and smooth, but because you have to apply pretty thick otherwise it’ll dry up BEFORE you apply the magnet, it easily spread into the cuticle. Application of magnet was also not hiper-easy, but well…it could be improved by several practicing.

I also love the color, as most of “magnetic” colors are really gray-sh but this has pretty nice vivid color! Again I have to say I love this brand, despite of its price…

鉄分を含むピグメント入りポリ＋磁石、で模様を作る「Magnetic」ポリは前々からちょこまかあったようですがここ最近一気に増えたように思います……が何故か日本では見ませんな。玉虫ピグメントは日本で化粧料として使ったらあかんそーですがこれもまたそうなんでしょうかね。あるいは鉄ピグメントはどうしても黒くなる＝濃ゆい色揃いになってしまう＝日本人好みではない、ということなんでしょうか。
さてやり方としてはポリを分厚めに塗り、乾かないうちに磁石で覆うということになります。なかなかメンドクサイというか、磁石に爪がべたー貼り付いて大騒動とか、まあ要は結構大変だったりするのですがｗ　エアブラシで吹いたような、なかなか面白い仕上がりになります。
ただ磁石系って実にピンキリで、鉄ピグメントを増やすあまり色が汚いとかでろでろになるとか、あるいはポリはいいけど磁石弱すぎねーかとか、「これ！」というのがなかなか無かったりします。そんな中このAlessandroのは塗り心地も悪くなくマグネットも十分強力だったということで、買って良かったなあと思いつつ。
……偶然ディスカウントストアにあったいうのも良かったなあとｗ

Haul: Petit-haul from France

Last week I had an opportunity to visit France (unfortunately it’s not for vacation though), and because I don’t have local one now so I just ran to…Sephora!

I didn’t have so much time but I could grab these four beautés petits…these are all duochromes, now can’t wait trying all of these!

セフォラ懐かしいよセフォラ。心斎橋セフォラにはよく行ったもんです。今調べたらたった2年で日本から撤退したんですね。いいお店なんだけどなあ。
……とかいいつつドイツにはセフォラありませんで。この度偶然フランスに行く用事が出来たのをいいことに店舗に駆け込んでゲッツして来た次第です。こやつら実は欧州限定でアメリカには無いそーですな。とはいえアメリカの方はSephora by OPIがあるわけですが。う、羨ましくなんかな（ｒｙ
さて毎度の如く（？）偏光系ばっか買って来たわけですがさてどんな感じになるんかなー。楽しみです。

...Ahem, so pink gradient. Orbis is Japanese cosmetic manufacturer and cherry drop is one of well-known color by it’s formula and sheerness. It’s not too sheer, not too pigmented, it’s really “just” to create nice gradient! Glitter under this gradient looks pretty cute too, it’s a bit too sweet on my mind but still can’t ignore this style…I feel it’s really nice “spiring-has-come” mani.

But well, ah, I think I used way too much polishes…actually I really feel that Hot couture was completely no-need on this moment. I also had pretty hard time to give only one coat of Hot couture, it was so gloppy, so thick…and surprisingly Sakura glow is not. I don’t understand this difference made by exactly same company…Yeah, Sakura glow itself is “JP-only” glitter, but why they don’t make similar stuff in US too?

Anyway, overall, I’m thinking to revenge on this mani. I’ll try again soon. Again I like how it looks, but I’m so sure I can find better “recipe” to do this…

方々で有名なチェリードロップ、うちのダンナが日本に行ったときに無理をいって買って来てもらったｗチェリードロップ、ようやく日の目を見るときが来ました。確かにコレは凄いですな！グラデが超簡単にできちゃう！この感じで他の色も出してくれないもんかと思うくらい良い色です。人気出るのも解るわー。
で、どうせならラメ下地でグラデで消えて行く感じにしたいなーと（これまたあちこちで見てかわいかったので）頑張ったのですが、……何つうかラメの時点で大失敗かました気がします。Color ClubのHot coutureが犯人です。何これ超塗りにくい。爪の上でダマになって広がらずラメが乗らないとかマジどゆことですか。同じColor ClubのSakura glowはささっと広がってラメも均一に乗ったのに何ですかこの違い。あれか日本仕様だからか！日本仕様は頑張るのか！本国でも頑張れよ！！（絶叫）
……ネイル系はUSに負けるとか何とかよくいわれていますが正直ラメポリは日本大勝利だと私は思っています。去年のChina Glazeの3Dグリッターとか日本じゃふつーにあるラメポリだよねえとか。欧州系ラメポリも悪くないんですがやっぱり日本のには完璧負けるのでホロなんかと併せて買い込むぞー！おー！と今から意気込ん（略）
まあ結局は無い物ねだりなのかも知れませんがはっはっは。
